The Yarn Fairy came today!

Look what the Yarn Fairy sent! My bestest pal Kayla played Yarn Fairy, and mailed this gorgeous hank of Chameleon Colorworks sock yarn to me - and being ever so clever, she packaged it in one of those plastic tubes tennis balls come in. No doubt this got some odd looks as it traveled through the postal service, but it was a perfect way to send this yarn and it's a good way to repurpose a plastic container. I wish I'd snapped a photo of DBF's face when he came into my office and handed me a cylinder of yarn.

This yarn is looooovely! I was unfamiliar with Chameleon Colorworks until I received this. I just spent about 20 minutes drooling over the yarns on their site.

As much as I'd love to wind this into balls and cast on a new pair of socks, I've already got the Swizzle socks, the Patons Stretch Socks and the second pair of Moda Dea Vision socks currently OTN. I probably won't get to this yarn until after the holidays - particularly in light of the fact that I was told today that I needed to knit up another pair of gift socks for Xmas - but I can't wait to see how it knits up.

I have such cool friends. :-)

  1. Ooooooo! Very pretty! But I did so not need another yarn brand to drool over. I had to book mark it, though
