A friend of mine spotted my 'yarn jars' and informed me that I'd hit on the coolest method of yarn storage ever. I don't know if it's the coolest ever, but I was flattered - and I must admit that it's a great excuse to buy those big jars of pretzels at Costco and Tractor Supply. :-) I have several of these jars filled with colorful yarns of all types. The wool yarns are stored with a little cedar ball or an herbal sachet to repel moths. The plastic jars repel the cats, who think I buy yarn simply so they'll have something cozy to sleep in.
